This is another most food blogpost. I was drafted to help
provide food for a Halloween party of 50, and that was fun and a little
stressful, especially since I was only given a two-day notice. It would have been more fun and less stressful if I had a little
more time to prep and think about everything. But it happened, people came to
the party, and it looked like everyone enjoyed themselves. Here are some things
that I made:
Cupcakes
Cookies
Mummy Dogs
Costume or Real Life?
There was also a chocolate fondue, chips & salsa and queso, a charcuterie board, oh and these Cuties. I bought two bags, and I drew the first bag, where all the faces were different. When a lady asked to help, I said OK, and she drew the SAME FACE on the second bag of Cuties. This is why I don't really like it when people help, because they don't put as much heart, thought, and effort into things. No offence to her.
Jack-O-Lanterns
The decor of the house was also pretty great, but since I didn't help, I didn't take any pictures. But here are the great people I got to work with to plan the party :)

It’s also my roommate’s birthday this week! We watched some
episodes of “The Great British Baking Show” together, and there was a technical
challenge called Prue’s Raspberry, Coconut, and Mango Verrines (Verrine means "small glass" in French). She expressed
interest in eating one, so I made them for her over the weekend. I ran out of
raspberries at the end, which is why they are topped with strawberries haha. P.S. They look better than they taste, in my opinion. But still pretty yummy.

And then Song’s parents came to visit from China, and we had
dumpling night, and everyone made some dumplings (even if it wasn’t beautiful
or had lots of filling).
